Text Box: Carlyle Van Lines would like to encourage all agents to continue trying to get a clean 1840 when delivering any military shipments. At this time we are still unaware when Families First will start moving shipments. Even after the new program begins, we will need for you to continue obtaining 1840’s for any shipment that is not moving within the Families First program. We expect that some of the moves you will be handling to all military bases will be moved under the current LOI/TDR process for at least the next three cycles. Only military moves from one Families First installation to another will utilize the new program. As booking agents, we will be operating in a dual mode for many months (some shipments moving under the current program and others under Families First). When shipments start moving under the new Families First Program only a few bases will participate in the beginning. SDDC has not yet announced the launch date or which bases will be added into the initial start of the EOC. If you have any questions, please contact our Quality Control Department.     The beginning of the DW07 booking cycle marks another round of Air Force Regionalization.   Twelve Air Force/Navy bases will move into the control of Joint Personal Property Shipping Offices.  The following is an outline of bases that will be moving into JPPSO Colorado Springs, JPPSO San Antonio and JPPSO Northeast.
