Local/Regional Household Goods Truck Driver
Job Title: Local/Regional Household Goods
Truck Driver
Job Summary: The Local/Regional
Household Goods Truck Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering household goods to the Customers and their families at various locations locally, and within 500 miles of Warrensburg. This specialized position requires a deep understanding of military regulations and procedures related to the transportation of household goods, as well as exceptional driving skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely and efficiently transport military household goods to designated destinations within the assigned timeframe.
2. Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines while operating the truck and handling cargo.
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and report any mechanical issues or damage promptly.
4. Secure and load/unload household goods using appropriate packing and handling techniques to prevent damage during transit.
5. Verify and document the inventory of goods being transported, ensuring accuracy and compliance with military requirements.
6. Follow military guidelines and regulations regarding the documentation and reporting of shipments, including weight tickets, delivery receipts, and any other necessary paperwork.
7. Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professional and courteous communication with military personnel and their families, addressing their inquiries and concerns throughout the moving process.
8. Plan routes effectively, considering factors such as traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules, to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
9. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information as required by regulatory authorities.
10. Collaborate with dispatchers and logistics personnel to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, equipment maintenance, and compliance with government regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A or B with HAZMAT endorsement).
2. Proven experience as an over-the-road truck driver, preferably with experience in military household goods transportation.
3. Knowledge of military regulations and procedures related to the transportation of household goods is highly desirable.
4. Ability to operate a variety of truck sizes and types commonly used in household goods transportation, including tractor-trailers and straight trucks.
5. Strong physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving of household goods.
6. Effective communication skills to interact professionally with military personnel, families, and company personnel.
7. Solid organizational and time-management skills to plan routes and meet delivery deadlines.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing required paperwork and documentation.
9. Flexibility to work irregular hours and be away from home for periods, as required by the nature of regional trucking.

Job Summary: The Over-the-Road Freight Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering to various locations across the country in a timely manner. This specialized position requires a deep understanding related to the transportation of all commodities, as well as exceptional driving skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely and efficiently transport freight commodities to designated destinations within the assigned time limit.
2. Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines while operating the tractor/trailer and handling cargo.
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and report any mechanical issues or damage promptly.

Service Truck Technician SIGN ON BONUS $3000
Carlyle Truck & Trailer Repair is seeking a service truck technician. This position is working in the repair shop Monday thru Friday with the opportunity to handle the emergency roadside calls which are commissioned based. The service truck is a 24/7 on call position that is “as needed basis” during the day and after hours. Employee will be responsible for working on tractors and trailers. 3-5 years’ experience in road service preferred. You will be required to provide your own tools in the repair shop; however, service truck tools are provided. You must be available to work full time. The ideal candidate must have experience, excellent time management, communication skills, quick problem-solving skills, team player mentality, the ability to ask for help and be willing to help when needed. Top pay is $67.50 per billable hour on the service truck. Pay is based upon experience.
